Subject: ALERT: Eastwood City Frustrated Kidnapping Incident

Please take necessary precaution when bringing your children to Eastwood, or to any location for that matter.

There was a reported incident of frustrated kidnapping at the Eastwood City last night. A 5-year old child of an IBMer was at the McDonald's Eastwood and was taken while he was in the washroom. The Megaforce security radio brigade was immediately alerted and fortunately, the boy was noticed ten minutes later at the 7-11 by a guard who happened to be buying something in the store. This is the first reported kidnapping incident in the Eastwood City area.

We are thankful and relieved that this incident had a good ending. Please take extra steps to ensure that the safety and security of your children are never compromised.

i overheard a colleague from the cubicle behind me say (in the vernacular), "good thing they caught up with the culprit at 7-11. but why the need to stop by 7-11?" in which another replied, "probably couldn't call the getaway car coz the cell phone ran out of load. so had buy pre-paid card pa."

jesting aside, am glad these parents did not have to lose their kid. but why was the 5-year-old kid allowed to go to the wash room by himself in the first place?
